Not every legal matter falls within our current areas of practice. When we are unable to assist directly, we will do our best to help point you toward another attorney or law firm that may be better suited to your needs.
A Personal Approach
Our commitment does not end simply because your matter falls outside our practice.
We understand that finding the right attorney can be difficult, especially when you are already dealing with a stressful or unfamiliar legal issue. If your matter is not something our office currently handles, we will do our best to recommend another attorney or firm that may be able to assist.
Any referral depends on the nature of the matter, the attorneys we know, conflicts, availability, location and other circumstances. We cannot guarantee that another attorney will accept your case or that a particular lawyer will be the right fit, but we will make a good-faith effort to help you identify a useful next step when possible.
Our goal is simple: treat people with the same attention and care whether we handle the matter ourselves or help them look for someone who can.
For more than five decades, this practice has been rooted in personal service to the Belvidere community. That tradition includes taking the time to listen and, when appropriate, helping people find resources beyond our own office.
